Delta is a FREE video game console emulator created by Riley Testut for Iphone and IPAD iOS. It supports games for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) , Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance. A paid version of the emulator also supports Sega Genesis games. Upon release onto the App Store in April 2024, the app reached the top of the App Store rankings for Entertainment Apps. The sound quality and game play of these video games on your iPhone is perfect. You can play in Vertical or Landscape mode:

Delta is only the game emulator and does not come with any arcade games. Delta needs Game ROMs in order to play games. ROMs are special files containing a video game’s data. Luckily Game ROMS are readily available safely and FREE online. There are many ways to get a game’s ROM file online. I find the easiest way is to search Google. Example search criteria:
• NES Roms
• Game Boy Advance ROMS
• Nintendo 64 ROMS
With Google searches similar to above you can download your desired arcade game ROM to your computer.
I have found the easiest way to get the ROM from my computer to my iPhone is email it as an attachment to myself, then on my iPhone save the attachment to the device. Google Drive is another method to get file to your iPhone.
Once you have a ROM on your iPhone, you can add it to your Delta library by tapping ‘+’ in the top right corner of Delta’s main screen. The ROM must have one of the supported file extensions above.

It is very exciting to finally be able to play my favorite classic 80’s and 90’s arcade and video games on my iPhone. I especially enjoy playing a quick classic arcade game on the couch while a commercial is on the TV. The sound quality and game play of these video games on your iPhone is perfect. My favorites are Donkey Kong, Galaga, Ms PacMan, Contra, Defender, Commando, DigDug, Super Mario Brothers, Pitfall, Millipede, Burgertime, etc. As you can tell, I love all the classic Nintendo video games.
